Cross-stitch project

This is the story of a project that Gina found for Andy to cross-stitch. It is a copy of La-ghirlandata, a painting by Dante Rossetti

It took over 7 years to complete, as the first page of instruction took nearly 2 months. I did complete a number of smaller ones during those years. There are 42 A4 pages of instruction altogether.

The top right image was the last piece that I stitched. If you follow the pages the whole thing unfolds back to the first section.

16 May 2014. Another mainly black one finished. The last mainly black too. 3 to go!

03 April 2014. A slow one . But getting there only 4 pages to do.

31st December 2013. Another very dark one but finished inside the year. 5 left it will hopefully be finished within the next year! Hopefully!! 81/2 sections this year.

25 th November 2013. Just 10 days work! It has been very simple all black bar 2 squares of dark blue that no-one will ever find. That's the third corner done and on the final column.
